The Inaugural Meeting of the Asian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesiologists (ASPA) was held o next ASPA meeting is tentatively planned for 12 November 2001 (prior to the ASEAN Meeting) in Cebu, Philippines.

Que (Manila, Philippines) with the paper entitled `Postoperative analgesia after hypospadias repair: caudal bupivacaine-morphine versus intravenous declofenac-nalbuphine’; (poster) Dr Lakshmi Vas (India) with the poster entitled `Continuous sciatic nerve block in children’.
